Habitat ReStores are thrift stores across
the world which fund Habitat for Humanity’s programmes through the sale of
quality pre-loved products.
As the Marketing and Design Lead for Habitat Northern in New Zealand, I also led the creative and marketing outputs for the eight Habitat ReStores in our region. This involved a refresh to their digital presence, developing an influencer engagement strategy and creating guidelines for a consistent brand voice that left room for local specificity across each store. During this time, I also developed and implemented marketing campaigns for two new store openings; designed the signage for multiple store fit-outs and developed in-person and digital activations for events such as Volunteer Week, and an influencer bus tour around the stores.

THE GREAT BUS TOUR w/ RESTORE
With the goal of growing our connection to Auckland’s
large online thrifting community, and building stronger awareness of Habitat ReStore,
The Great Bus Tour with ReStore was born. Local creative, thrifting and style
influencers were invited to come along for a day of ‘op-shop hopping’ across
the city while sharing content with their thrift-loving followers. The week
following this event the stores’ Instagram page saw a 432.8% increase in reach,
and 83% increase in content interactions.
